Certifications
International Standards Organization (ISO) publishes standards for quality certification. ECFP is certified in Standard 9001, which pertains to installation of materials. ISO certification means that ECFP’s quality processes have been independently audited and approved as consistently implemented. ECFP adopted ISO in order to bring a consistent, quality process to the sell, design, fabrication and installation of fire sprinkler, fire alarm and special hazard fire protection systems. ECFP became certified in 2000, and is currently the only whole company fire protection company so certified.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a well recognized, independent product safety testing and certification organization founded in 1894. ECFP has had UL review the fire alarm design and installation processes of ECFP and obtained certification in 2001. The same UL certification seen on toasters and microwaves that inspires confidence can also be trusted for ECFP’s alarm installations.
